The primary candidate for GLP1s are individuals with a BMI of 30 or higher, are at least 18 years of age, and must be willing to commit to regular office visits while on the medication. Patients with a history of pancreatitis, thyroid cancer or family history of thyroid cancer are not candidates for GLP1s.

During a Weight Loss Consultation, our experienced providers will conduct a thorough assessment, discuss health history, and understand specific weight loss objectives. This personalized approach ensures that the Semaglutide treatment plan we design is perfectly aligned with a patient's needs for optimal results. We require labs to be drawn prior to starting Semaglutide; patients will be provided a Quest lab slip upon leaving their consultation. After labs are drawn and results received, our office will call and schedule a Weight Loss Program Teaching appointment. At this appointment, we will go over medication self-administration and program teaching. Patients will receive their first dose in-office and be provided a month's dose to take home.

A blood panel is required before starting our programs. Dime Aesthetics will provide a Quest lab slip for this panel and also accepts lab results taken within 90 days of your consultation. Blood labs must include: TSH, Complete Blood Count, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, Triglycerides, and Hemoglobin A1C. Lab costs are not included in program pricing.
